There are people who do not have access to clean potable water. Getting to know this Aeta community in Aklan, Philippines leaves me very humbled. They collect water in buckets and drums from the rain, and use these for their daily needs. When we went around to inspect their water collection, I felt very unconfident with the quality of the water.
Thanks to a community drive and partnership with Discovery Shores, we were able to successfully install 40 water filters in this community.
KEEP CLEAN
A year after our first visit, I'm here now on my third visit to the Aeta community to check on their water supply, and if they have continued to apply the use of the filters well.
The water is looking clear!

They are very thankful for the filters and had a few stories to share.
HELP OTHERS
When Typhoon Odette (Rai) struck the Philippines in December 2021, thousands were left without homes, food and water.
​
By responding quickly to this situation, I helped support affected communities with 30 water filters and emergency food aid. I hope to continue expanding this program to help even more communities access basic necessities and secure their lives.
