THE ROYAL ECONOMICS GUILD
FINANCE HEAD
I applied for and successfully was selected as the finance head of the Economics Guild. Over the past year I have gained an increasing interest in economics, having made efforts to study ahead of the IB course. I have also become increasingly interested in trading stocks and other financial instruments, and I saw this as an opportunity to use this passion to support the community. I really want to help push the guild forward and be a part of its development, and with this position I really feel I can create an inclusive learning community where we can all develop our economics and finance skills together. I am able and willing to assist others with their learning, and I am ready for this long-term commitment to support the guild.
Introduction to Stock Market
12/17/20
During this term, I have made a presentation on the stock market to the guild. Making the presentation was a really interesting experience for me, and it also taught me a lot about the stock market, as I was forced to research topics in more detail than I had previously known. Going into next year, I am excited to make more presentations on topics that interest the guild and work my way up, aspiring to become the guild leader sometime next year.
