Basketball
Quaranite Training . Even while we are unable to go to school, I still regularly participate in the at-home training program offered by our basketball coach, Ms. Candano. The program involves a variety of activities, with one training session each Monday and one training session done in our own time.
On Monday, we focus on basketball skills, such as improving our defensive stance, ball control and lateral movement. On the other training day, we do more strength exercises, such as push-ups, squats and lunges. I do this training on top of my daily exercise (noted in Personal Fitness), as I feel that it is a good way to ensure my basketball skills stay sharp and keep in touch with the basketball team, each one of us pushing the others to achieve the goals set out.

I have still continued regular practices in my own time with my brother and personal coach over Zoom. We meet twice each week for 30 minutes, working on various skills such as dribbling, fast-break moves and shooting. Even though there aren't any games or competitions in the near future, I find training fun; it also helps maintain my personal fitness. Through these various exercises, I have managed to develop my game further in several areas, especially post-ups, which I have struggled with in the past. I hope to learn more moves and keep my basketball skills fresh in preparation for the future when basketball season starts again.
