ATOM
...
This summer, I was appointed as the finance head of ATOM, and my first major project in my role was to create a finance plan that the organization could use in the future to help plan the financial side of fundraisers and projects. It would serve as a framework for project proposals, ensuring the organization was on the same page when creating projects, ensuring their alignment with ATOM's ethical and moral goals, helping the organization tackle the global issue of the underrepresentation of art. This plan was originally intended to take a much shorter time to create, but because of unforeseen difficulties including several original members of the team leaving, the entire plan took much longer. If I were to redo this plan in the future, I would have set a much stricter timeframe and created better disciplinary procedures to ensure work got completed on time. However, I still think it was a useful experience that gave me insights on how others thought a charity organization should operate and also useful leadership experience that I could put to use in the future. The plan will be published soon on the website for all to see.
